Review: I Can't But Jesus Can: Experiencing the Power of Surrender

I Can't But Jesus Can: Experiencing the Power of Surrender I Can't But Jesus Can: Experiencing the Power of Surrender by Adam Houge
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is a short journey through the principles of the Christian life. Maybe some of them you already knew, but it's never a bad idea to recap something that can help you.

As the book sustains, the Christian life is challenging and mostly unexpected, but the best and the only way to handle it would be by surrendering our hearts to the Father. Some quotes that I liked from the book:

Review: HOW TO LIVE ON 24 HOURS A DAY

HOW TO LIVE ON 24 HOURS A DAY HOW TO LIVE ON 24 HOURS A DAY by ARNOLD BENETT
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This short book teached me few things that maybe other larger books couldn't teach.

1. I knew that among all the life variables, time can't be recovered. Money, happiness, or even health can be recovered, but the spent time cannot. But here I learned that also time cannot be spend further. You can't waste a week or a month once as you can spend your income on a bet. You can't spend your next day today, nor next hour now. And that's a good news, cause time it's well kept resource.
