HOW TO LIVE ON 24 HOURS A DAY by ARNOLD BENETT
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This short book teached me few things that maybe other larger books couldn't teach.
1. I knew that among all the life variables, time can't be recovered. Money, happiness, or even health can be recovered, but the spent time cannot. But here I learned that also time cannot be spend further. You can't waste a week or a month once as you can spend your income on a bet. You can't spend your next day today, nor next hour now. And that's a good news, cause time it's well kept resource.
2. Then I learned that when you are trying to set a new good habit you don't have to worship it as if you don't have room in your schedule for anything else.
3. There is danger in knowing much, in having some knowledge that you may see yourself greater than the others and you may take that air of superiority attitude. So read not to be smarter than others, but to be smarter than you.
